Scam email targets Apple developers, tries to steal Apple ID password

A scam email is spreading around targeting App Store developers. At a quick glance it looks legit, especially if you check the email from the iPhone or iPad.

The emails “warns” Apple App Store developers that their Apple account has been frozen temporarily and immediate action is required. As expected the email asks for a (fake) update to the Apple ID account. This is where the scam part starts. This is not an email coming from Apple, neither the link points to any Apple related website for developers. (more…)

Google Project Glass will fail and the reason is you. That’s it. One simple reason, you!

At least in its current form, Project Glass is nothing more than an art experiment loaded with high tech and support from Google’s co-founder Sergey Brin.

UPDATE: It just happened. Google is killing Google Glass as we know it. Next step? My guess is that Google will take pieces of the technology and the Glass platform and apply it to other areas. Nest possibly. In enterprise and its own datacenters. Think Google Glass as Google Wave.

Don’t get me wrong. Project Glass is an amazing idea but the execution sucks. As an art projects Project Glass can do wonders. It’s great for video capturing and futuristic view of the days ahead, big data and everyone’s digital eg0 living on the web. Sure, that’s a great idea. (more…)

Processed Foods is the new cancer, seriously. The amount of ready to eat, stay in shelf for months but still looking great kind of food is insane. Bu processed foods make sense. They taste great and they are always available to eat. They can be bought in great quantities and preserved for long time. They vary from a snack to a full meal and something in between and they can also be labeled deli.

NPR has this great story about What America Spends On Groceries 1982 – 2012. Back in 1982 Americans spent 11.6% of their groceries money on processed foods and sweets. Fast forward 20 years and Americans spend 22.9% of their groceries money on processed foods and sweets. This is insane. (more…)
